Dr. Shanley embodies a mindset of whole person healthcare, not just dental healthcare, something that was a common theme during his dental training at A.T. Still University working at his dental school’s clinic along with his external rotations across the country during his final year of schooling.
Dr. Shanley knew he wanted to become a dentist from a young age where he looked up to his own general dentist and orthodontist, seeing the way they interacted with their patients and staff inspired him to pursue the profession of dentistry. During his journey, Dr. Shanley volunteered in both dental and non-dental settings beginning in high school and continuing throughout his time in graduate school. Additionally, Dr. Shanley worked as a dental assistant in general practice and in oral surgery before finally beginning his journey at dental school.
In school, Dr. Shanley was very interested in the field of general dentistry. This led to him becoming the Secretary and Treasurer of the Arizona Academy of General Dentistry club at his school and earned him the 2022 AGD Senior Student Dental Award from the Academy of General Dentistry for exhibiting great interest, knowledge, and proficiency in the field during his time as a student.
Dr. Shanley is excited to serve the Westminster area and is eager to begin building relationships with his patients.
During his spare time, Dr. Shanley enjoys hiking, snowboarding, yoga and many other athletic pursuits Colorado has to offer.
